Lord of the Flies 2
In The second third of Lord of the flies Jack starts to form his own group. As he now seems the best person to lead them in their fight against the beast, he ends up with most of the boys following him with the exception of Piggy, Simon, Samneric and a few littluns who stay loyal to Ralph. It is easy to see the attraction, which Jack offers, getting to hunt pigs, wearing camouflage face paint made up of tribal dances.
Jack soon has them out on a hunting party and they find an easy prey in a sow suckling her young, which the tribe slaughter and mutilate placing the pig’s head on a stake which provides their tribe with an idol to worship, and also a symbol to placate the beast. This idol becomes the Lord of the Flies and has been positioned outside Simon’s hiding place who is suffering from hallucinations and thinks that the pig’s head is speaking to him, warning him not to spoil the fun which is to be had on the island.
Simon is the only boy who has the courage to go back up the mountain and find out the true nature of the beast, and he discovers the truth. He realizes that the beast, which they are all frightened off, is not a creature lurking in the jungle, but a primordial, evil buried in everyone’s sub-conscious. Exhausted, Simon decides to go back to Jack’s camp to tell them the truth, but they mistake him for the beast in disguise and brutally murder him.
If I was Ralph I would have sent all the kids in my group to get jack and keep him in prison so he couldn’t rise up and form is own group. Jack is just making everyone one on the island haters of everyone

Story Response: Lord Of Flies
In The Story “Lord of the Flies” In the Lord of the Flies, many young boys were left to survive after their plane had crashed on an uninhabited island. In the story their is four main characters in the novel. Their is Ralph the oldest and wisest,Then Piggy. Piggy’s character is very scared all the time and he needs lots of attention. Thens theirs Jack. Jacks a mr know it all. When the boys are decideing who the leader will be Jack fights and fights . Jack feels like he needs to have athurity against everyone. Then thiers simon who is the brains. But simon is also a silence kid too. So you dont know to much of simon in the begining of the story.
So far the kids have built a fire. The kids used Piggy’s class and the suns rays to make the flame. Ralph was picked as the leader of the kids. Jack was not to happy with the choice. So theirs a little conflict between Ralph and Jack. So far so good with the book.

War/lyrics
War is good for absolutely nothing
War, huh, yeah
What is it good for
Absolutely nothing
Uh-huh
War, huh, yeah
What is it good for
Absolutely nothing
Say it again, y’allWar, huh, good God
What is it good for
Absolutely nothing
Listen to meOhhh, war, I despise
Because it means destruction
Of innocent lives War means tears
To thousands of mothers eyes
When their sons go to fight
And lose their lives
I said, war, huh
Good God, y’all
What is it good for
Absolutely nothing
Say it again
War, whoa, Lord
What is it good for
Absolutely nothing
Listen to me
War, it ain’t nothing
But a heartbreaker
War, friend only to the undertaker
Ooooh, war
It’s an enemy to all mankind
The point of war blows my mind
War has caused unrest
Within the younger generation
Induction then destruction
Who wants to die
Aaaaah, war-huh
Good God y’all
What is it good for
Absolutely nothing
Say it, say it, say it
War, huh
What is it good for
Absolutely nothing
Listen to me
War, huh, yeah
What is it good for
Absolutely nothing
Uh-huh
War, huh, yeah
What is it good for
Absolutely nothing
Say it again y’all
War, huh, good God
What is it good for
Absolutely nothing
Listen to me
War, it ain’t nothing but a heartbreaker
War, it’s got one friend
That’s the undertaker
Ooooh, war, has shattered
Many a young mans dreams
Made him disabled, bitter and mean
Life is much to short and precious
To spend fighting wars these days
War can’t give life
It can only take it away
Ooooh, war, huh
Good God y’all
What is it good for
Absolutely nothing
Say it again
War, whoa, Lord
What is it good for
Absolutely nothing
Listen to me
War, it ain’t nothing but a heartbreaker
War, friend only to the undertaker
Peace, love and understanding
Tell me, is there no place for them today
They say we must fight to keep our freedom
But Lord knows there’s got to be a better way
Ooooooh, war, huh
Good God y’all
What is it good for
You tell me
Say it, say it, say it, say it
War, huh
Good God y’all
What is it good for
Stand up and shout it
Nothing

The Guest 2
Daru is a school master in shorty story. Daru is a protagonist in the story. He is Stuck in a big problem. When a prisinor is sent to his prison. Daru decides to let the prisnor go. Garu actions make a flasme spark with the captors.
Daru is extremly caring. The prisonor is brought to his hands. Daru is susposed to take him to prison instead he sets him free.
Daru is not only caring he is also. But he is also very smart. Daru is the school master in the prison. You have to very smart to be a school master.
Daru to me is a static-round characrter. Beacause through out the whole story his emtions do not change he is loving. Caring and smart. His emotions and belives stay the same through out the whole story.

The
Albert Camus’ The Guest is about a schoolteacher named Daru that lives by himself in a schoolhouse out on a plateau somewhere in France. Daru is given the responsibility of transporting an Arab prisoner to a nearby city to face judgment.
Daru was to have none of it. He wanted to lead his simple, uninterrupted life and be left out of the war that was evidently looming. Unfortunately for Daru, this was not an option for him and the man named Balducci left the prisoner at the schoolhouse despite Daru’s objection.

Identities
In the short story “Identities” by W.D Valgardson, the author uses contrast to create tension in the story by placing the character in an unfamiliar environment and by contrasting the different areas of the town he is in. This contrast creates suspense in the story and it shows that stereotypes are dangerous to society.
As the main character goes through the town, the areas change and things change from being clean and neat to dirty and broken.

UFC
UFC started in 1993, the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) brand is in its fourteenth year of operation as a professional mixed martial arts organization offering the premier series of MMA sports events. The UFC organization follows a rich history and tradition of competitive MMA dating back to the Olympic Games in Athens. About 80 years ago, a Brazilian form of MMA known as Vale Tudo (anything goes)
Then, the UFC organization brought MMA to the US. The goal was to find “the Ultimate Fighting Champion” with a concept to have a tournament of the best athletes skilled in the various types of all martial arts, including karate, jiu-jitsu, boxing, kickboxing, grappling, wrestling, sumo and other combat sports. The winner of the tournament would be crowned the champion.
Despite all the blood, violence , the sport is heavily regulated. The fighters can only wear a pair of trunks, and four- to six-ounce gloves to protect their hands. The gloves give very little protection for their opponent. Also, no shirts or shoes are allowed because they could interfere with grappling and kicking.
There are also rules against head-butting, eye-gouging, biting, hair-pulling, throat-striking, spitting at an opponent and stomping an opponent on the ground – just to name a few. So, not everything goes in a UFC bout.

The Shinnning houses
“The Shining Houses” is the decision of a mom who is friends with the neighborhood senior. Mary, is a friend with an elderly woman, Mrs. Fullerton, who lives on her street. Mary is confused by this friend because everyone else on the street talks about kicking poor Mrs. Fullerton from the neighborhood. Mary eventually has to decide what to do about Mrs. Fullerton and the other neighbors on the block. Before they ask her to sign a petition, she tries to leave this get to gether where the parents are signing the petition. After the decision is forced upon her, Mary tells everyone that she is not going to sign the petition . Her parents tried to froced her to sign, Mary refused and she lefted the party.
I think any person can connect with this story. Because everyone has experinced the feeling of perpressure from friends, family, and strangers. I think the conflit in this in this story is man vs man, and man vs himself. For man vs man in this story its mary vs basically everyone living on marys street. and for man vs himself. When mary felt peresurred to sign the petition she could have said yes just so her parents would stop trying to force her to sign it up. But instead she battle with her self and she knew what was write from wrong and she didnt sign the petition.
